If You’ve Felt Drawn to the Sacred Feminine...

But Can’t Fully Make Sense of It

I set out to find the Shakti Peeths—sacred sites tied to the story of Devi Sati—and discovered a tradition far more mysterious than I imagined.

What began as a personal search for the sacred feminine became a years long pilgrimage across India, Nepal, Tibet, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Pakistan visiting more than sixty sites connected to the story of Sati.

Along the way, I encountered a fragmented sacred geography with no single agreed-upon map. Different lists. Different locations. Different interpretations shaped across centuries of mythology, devotion, and lived tradition.

The book in progress, brings together pilgrimage, mythology, sacred geography, photography, and firsthand journeys across South Asia.
