Who We Are
Red Thread is a community of cis gender women living in the Bay Area who spend much of our lives caring for others—professionally, personally, or both. We recognize that caregiving, while meaningful, can also be isolating. We come together around shared values of care, connection, and mutual support-- for ourselves and each other.
What We Do
We gather to rest, connect, create, and remember ourselves in the company of other women. Through walks in nature, shared meals, creative exploration, and time in circle, we make space to decompress, feel inspired, and nourish personal growth. Participation is flexible, honoring the complexity and fullness of our lives.
Where
Activities take place throughout the Bay Area. In addition to in-person gatherings, we host a monthly online community meeting via Zoom to stay connected across schedules and locations.
When
We offer one optional, fun gathering each month. There is a second offering—either online or in person in San Francisco—focused on gathering in circle. It is an option for those who aspiring towards deeper connection through presence.Â
